The Programme is made up of three courses:
Course 1: For owners
This Course will help you:
- Understand whether an EOT is the right succession option for you and your business
- Put in place the first building blocks for the transition to EOT
- Successfully bring the leadership team along with you
Course 2: For owners and the leadership team
This course will help:
- You implement the plan developed in Course 1
- The leadership team understand the EOT
- You put an engagement plan in place for all employees
Course 3: For everyone
This course will help:
- Get the business ready for the big day – the sale of a controlling interest to the EOT
The Programme covers everything you need to know and do to get the business ready; including the technical details, the legal issues, and, most importantly, how to engage employees in the business.
This takes time, and the Programme will help you deal with those deep issues. It is for this reason that there is a minimum period of six months membership.
The pricing of the Programme is as follows:
Online Programme Membership: £300 per month*
The core of the programme. Access to a structured process guiding the owner, leadership team and employees through their various challenges in preparing the business to be sold to the Employee Ownership Trust.
In addition, each month new content will be provided. This will come in a number of formats, including:
- Webinars (with a variety of guests)
This content will be available without additional charge to the programme members, plus access to the archive of content.
Cohort membership: £575 per month*
An additional option will be to go through the programme with other companies. Collaborative learning has been shown to increase the rate of understanding, as you go through the transition with others who are sharing similar experiences as you.
The Cohort Membership includes quarterly facilitated meetings where all members of a cohort (typically five companies) come together to share insights and experiences, hosted by an Eternal Business adviser.
Cohort Membership includes the cost of the quarterly meeting for two employees of each company (additional attendees charged at £200 each).
Furthermore, cohort members will have access to an exclusive forum. From here they will be able to collaborate with other cohort members between the facilitated meetings, sharing both problems and challenges.
There is a minimum commitment of six months when you join either option.
